Implement correctness fixes, add comprehensive tests, harden CI/security, and update documentation based on project evaluation.
This PR addresses several critical issues identified during a project evaluation, including a high-severity bug where using a single override flag (
--kubeconfigor--sources) would inadvertently reset other saved configuration values. It also fixes an issue where--shortoutput was not reliably machine-readable due to extra messages, and improves cross-platform path handling.
