Add GeoIdentifierTag copy numbers to all volume placements following GeoModel best practice (informed by SPDGeoModel comparison). Rename all GeoNameTag and GeoLogVol names to use hierarchical snake_case paths (e.g. /SHiP/target/proximity_shielding) for consistent navigation in gmex and the geometry database.
Verify subsystem count, Z-ordering, absence of unexpected overlaps, and position sanity against expected values from the EDMS document.
