Sumatra 3.6 on win10 showing all black labels.

All labels appear as black text on a black background. File tabs, File menu, all menus. I tried the pre-release, it wouldn't install properly. I ratcheted back down to 3.5.2.

I re-installed 3.6 to get a screenshot. I had "white" as the "theme" for 3.5.2. I didn't select a "theme" for 3.6 since I couldn't see the menus. Sometimes it would show a line or two of the menu. Same lines each time menu was opened.

try to find your SumatraPDF-settings.txt file
it should be at %userprofile%\AppData\Local\SumatraPDF
and simply change the earliest Theme line to = Light

Theme = Light

that should not break your existing history but reset it to Light colour
