• Uses Git for the collaborative implementation of those ideas.
• By your public reop, you may tap into a massive global community of developers who can find, use, and contribute to your idea, offering feedback and improvements you might not have considered.

You can use a private repository and restrict access to it.
You can also restrict who can push to branches and use pull requests so that everything needs to be reviewed by someone else before it can be merged into the main branch.

GitHub is very effective because it enforces traceability. In a group chat or email thread, ideas often get lost. On GitHub, every idea is an "Issue" that stays open until it is resolved. It turns "I have an idea" into "Here is the work we are doing on this idea."
