Noticeable Delayed ASS Signs

While testing Wholphin's implementation of libass-android via damontecres/Wholphin#1052 , some sample mkv were identified that experience significant sign rendering delay, ~.5 seconds, in both Wholphin's and Jellyfin's official android tv app's implmentation of libass-android. They render at the correct time for Wholphin's MPV and Jellyfin's official android tv app ffmpeg transcoding.

Is this fixable, or is it an unavoidable consequence of androidx/media#2289?

Yes, due to media#2289, the render time is not exactly, and when render ass, it use a texture view and render thread, the display alway late at least one frame.

When this issue will be fixed androidx/media#723, we will be able to use setVideoEffects and it will fix this issue.
For the moment, we can't really do anything about it.
