Monterey macOS vim9 cannot install vim plug

I've tried many tricks

1. Moving tmp directory
2. setting TMPDIR to a home directory /Users/Name/tmp
3. Hardcoding git_version directly to plug.vim line 441
4. Enabled full control to Terminal and vim via system preferences

Still getting this error

when I fake the version line it does go further but all the plugins come with the same E282 message

Yes sir, Thanks for getting back to me. I actually checked two other machines with MacOS 10.14.x 10.15.x which I might have installed vim-plug a few months back ... both behave the same way. This seems to be related to some handshakes with GitHub. The 10.14 machine (see below) had plug successfully installed. So' I've tried PlugUpdate and you see I still got some error message. I only tried the trick with TMPDIR on the latest machine 12.7. I know these are a bit older machines, but I cannot update OSX due to Hardware limitation (only 6-8 years old Macpros) As you see these are vims that come with OSX.

PS: I've tried a few months old machine with osx 15.6 and vim-plug works without any issues with vim The version is VIM - Vi IMproved 9.1 (2024 Jan 02, compiled Jul 11 2025 21:28:27) Could this be related to some old certs ?
