While working on plan mode, when a model presents one or more suggested options, there is currently no way to reject those suggestions and input a custom alternative. Users may feel constrained by having to choose from only the provided options or skip the question altogether, even when none fully meet their needs.
Proposed solution
Introduce an additional option that allows users to decline all model-generated suggestions and provide their own input instead. This ensures users are not limited to predefined choices and can override the model’s recommendations when necessary.
In the screenshot below, only two options are available, and there’s no way to provide a custom response. The third option, “skip question,” isn’t suitable and doesn’t address my need either.
