Reason for updating

This repository contains an outdated version that no longer supports GitHub Copilot or its extensions, so an update is required.

Unfortuantly it hasn't been updated because every newer version has not worked on my systems.

If you would like to test the latest version:
sudo eopkg it https://shared.getsol.us/harvey/vscode-1.113.0-238-1-x86_64.eopkg

You can revert with:
sudo eopkg it --reinstall vscode

If no one has a solution I think we should deprecate it.

Unfortunately, it doesn't work on my system either, same as yours.

I can only advise using the flatpak, I have no idea what is wrong with the package.

Can't really recommend the flatpak version. But, it already has a tar.gz package install option, and that is just download, extract, and create a desktop file and put it in ~/.local/share/applications, and it can be used without any issue. Updates just involve replacing extracted folder each update.

It updates frequently enough that maintaining it is greater than the effort to install and update it.
