An instructor will likely create the same assignment, with the exact same title, in more than one LMS.
Flextensions supports this, but it's confusing and can lead to difficult to recover from errors.
- Should we 'warn' a user if the same exact assignment title exists twice?
- Should the title of the assignment (in the request dropdown) include the LMS platform name?
- This helps disambiguate assignments, but may not explain why things are wrong
- Should this happen on if assignments are duplicated? (Almost certainly)
- This doesn't help students alert an instructor something is wrong.
- In Canvas, can we tell / warn if the assignment is likely not the place students make a submission?
This is confusing, but a real issue when you need to use Canvas as a grade book.
