  • Annotate hard-filter transition as deferred from v0.8.0 to v0.9.0 The v0.7.0 design promised that v0.8.0 would convert the target_application deprecation warning into a hard filter (FilterReason.missing_target_application). v0.8.0 became a stability release instead; the conversion is now targeted for v0.9.0. Lifecycle.md: replaced "v0.8.0 will convert this to a hard filter" with "Deferred from v0.8.0 to v0.9.0. The v0.7.0 warning behavior is preserved in v0.8.0." BasePlugin.md: replaced "v0.8.0 transition. When v0.8.0 ships..." heading and intro with "Hard-filter transition (deferred from v0.8.0 to v0.9.0). v0.8.0 preserved the v0.7.0 warning behavior intact..." Behavior matrix below is unchanged.
