Following a vote the Apache Logging Services team has moved Chainsaw into the dormant state (see vote result).
For Chainsaw users this means that:
- Bugs and feature requests are unlikely to be addressed.
- Security reports will be addressed. See Reporting vulnerabilities for instructions on how to report them.
- The project is unlikely to make new releases.
- If you are willing to step up to maintain Chainsaw, please contact us on the
dev@logging.apache.org mailing list (see Maintainer discussions for more details).
- If the project finds new contributors, it can return to the
ACTIVE state. Otherwise, the project can be declared end-of-life with a due notice.
