SM8350 Missing?

Please correct me if I'm wrong.

I can't find kernel manifest for SM8350 devices. Checking the kernel version on my OnePlus 9 Pro, it shows 5.4.xxx-qgki which suggests it's a GKI and needs a kernel manifest.

Old kernels need to be built the traditional way. No Manifests will be released, I think.

I hope they release a reference manifest at least in this chat. Something like this: #41 (comment)

I tried looking at that kernel but I have no clue what defconfig / config fragments I need to use to get it booting.

The only suggestion I can give you now is to take defconfig from /proc/config.gz if you are rooted. I have tried building and one user told it doesn't boot. You can check my repos if you want to have a look. It fails build now as I have not updated. No device to test currently.

I actually don't need root to get the /proc/config.gz file :D

But it's not too ideal, since then I have to distribute that too if I want to modify the kernel.

Oh yes.. You can just run extract-ikconfig

Shouldn't OnePlus then provide build instructions? I can't find out how to... Either i'm doing something wrong or the kernel is broken.
