Feature Request: Official Linux Desktop Application for MiniMax Agent
Summary
I have created an unofficial community Linux port of MiniMax Agent v3.0.13, as there is currently no official Linux desktop application.

What I've Built
- A working .deb package for Debian-based distributions (Linux Mint, Ubuntu, Debian)
- Google OAuth login support with custom protocol handler (
minimax://) - Full desktop integration with icons and system tray
- Built from the official Windows installer using Electron extraction
- Tested on Linux Mint 21.x
Request
I would like to formally request official Linux support for MiniMax Agent:
- Official Linux builds - .deb, .rpm packages
- Official distribution channels - Via apt, snap, or flatpak
- License clarification - Guidance on whether community redistribution is acceptable
- Official API support - Ensuring the web APIs work reliably
Why This Matters
- Growing demand from the Linux developer community
- MiniMax Agent competes with other AI assistants that already support Linux
- Could significantly expand the user base
- Many developers prefer Linux desktop environments
