dmesg shows:

[    0.165952] RDSEED32 is broken. Disabling the corresponding CPUID bit.

Otherwise the system seems unaffected, boots and works normally.

1. Boot the laptop - the message is always there

There should be no such message.

@quinchou77 looks like this issue will be resolved once we update to StrixKrackanPI-FP8_1.1.0.0e and StrixHaloPI-FP11_1.0.0.2a https://www.amd.com/en/resources/product-security/bulletin/amd-sb-7055.html

But as discussed in the forum, if you see the kernel message, that means the kernel has also applied a mitigation against the vulnerability.

This issue is confirmed and will be resolved in the next release. It affects both the Ryzen AI 300 and AI Max series. Our release schedule is as follows:
Framework 16 (AI 300 series): Alpha on 3/13; Beta on 3/20.
Framework 13 (AI 300 series): Schedule is TBD, pending the resolution of the Power Delivery (PD) issue.
