Several App Screenshots Are Outdated

Several new workspace apps are live, but their screenshots in the User Guide are outdated.

This parent issue is created to track several older issues that are now child issues.

@omachala, you offered a PR to update screenshots in a doc via heroshot. The apps are live, and I am interested, but the apps are behind a login. I read on heroshot "sites that need login" can be supported on local machine. How about a remote machine i.e. a staging server?

I built heroshot for automating documentation screenshots - it captures them via Playwright so they can be regenerated when the UI changes.

Would you be open to a PR with updated screenshots plus a heroshot config for automation? Happy to help!

Hi @wesleyboar! Yes, heroshot works with remote staging servers behind login — not just localhost.

The flow is:

1. Run heroshot config locally — it opens a browser where you log into your staging server
2. Pick the elements you want to capture
3. Heroshot saves the authenticated session (cookies, localStorage) encrypted to .heroshot/session.enc
4. Future runs — locally or in CI — restore that session automatically, so captures work without re-logging in

For CI, you export a session key (heroshot session-key) and add it as a GitHub secret. The authentication guide covers the full setup including OAuth, SSO, and 2FA flows.
